The Kids Design Pontiac Solstice project is coming along nicely! Next month, the Kids Design Team we have assembled at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital will meet to make choices on the exterior color of the car via a donated wrap from Signature Graphics, a new leather interior donated by Apex Leather and a custom sound system and other interior upgrades donated by Soundwerks-Scottsdale Road. In the mean time, our sponsors have been busy taking care of maintenance on the car, including some wear and tear item repairs. RPM-Motorsports has performed a bumper to bumper inspection, replaced all fluids and worn parts and installed the donated BC Racing coilover suspension and Solo Performance Inc. cat-back exhaust system. Thanks again to BC Racing and Solo for their continued generosity! (Recall that Discount Tire donated a $3,000 set of wheels and tires just a few weeks ago!) We have a couple more maintenance stops before the Kids Design Team examines the car in person and makes their choices for the appearance upgrades. Watch this space to see how it turns out. Of course, once completed, we will sell the car and every penny will be donated to the Integrative Medicine Center at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital!
